4D Time
Onuma can be used to track Time or 4D in BIM
In the settings of individual projects users can define a construction
start and end date and even demolition dates which can then be used to
analyze an individual project or an entire city model with a time-based
4D model. This can be visualized automatically in Google Earth by
exporting from Onuma or linking to Onuma from Google Earth. In Google
Earth you can play a time based animation or drag a slider that shows
the sequence of construction. This feature is useful for scenario
planning and for visualizing projects from a historical point of view.
A snapshot of how the timeline shows buildings in Google
Earth. Floors of a building appear as the timeline approaches the month
in the 4D sequence.
The timeline can play automatically or users can drag the bar
to a point in time.
New! 4D Models now can contain
user input time based color changes.
