another team is already working on or define a new site. Make your

have an urban planning aspect to them. Show us how urban planning
solutions can have a positive impact on our cities and world.
- Best Design - Overall design that integrates the
challenges defined in each BIMStorm.
- Best Collaboration - Virtual and face to face
collaboration,

Zones™ - September 9-11, 2008
From
September 9-11, 2008, federal and city agencies, owners, developers,
planners, architects, builders and the public will gather for a live
BIMStorm™ for the Alexandria, VA area. Due to Base
Realignment and
Closing (BRAC) in the area, the demographics of Alexandria will be
changing. The Alexandria BIMStorm™ will be an exercise to
plan for this
change and run scenarios.

Greening the Worlds Capital Cities Conference in
Washington D.C.
BIMStorm™ Capitals Alliance: South Africa - September 2008
The
National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC), the central planning
agency for America’s capital, will host Capitals Alliance
2008:
Greening the World’s Capital Cities, in Washington, DC
September 15-18,
2008. The conference will assemble planners, designers, architects, and
policy-makers from national capitals around the world to explore the
role of capital cities in creating a greener planet. This year,
Capitals Alliance will focus on a master planning charrette of Tshwane,
the capital of South Africa. BIMStorm™ Capitals Alliance will
allow
participants from around the world to observe and design.
